Emergelings

These little 2-4" tall pieces hardly count as a major accomplishment during my time at Shigaraki (I only spent one evening making them!), but their photos still deserve a place here on the blog. Their rustic style was definitely influenced by the Japanese ceramics I saw during my stay, and I know these will serve as an inspiration for some of my future work. I'm only posting photos of 11 that I have good photos of and like the best, but I probably made 20-25 of these.
